Central Ohio Technical CollegeCreation: Central Ohio Technical College is proud to announce that three faculty members were selected to serve on the first round of content teams as part of the Ohio Department of Higher Education’s OER Innovation Grant.  Jackie Sample will serve on the Intro to Psychology Team, and Emily Dennett and Nicholas Shay will serve on the Statistics team.  

Advocacy: The Central Ohio Technical College library has an OER LibGuide, which provides faculty with an overview of Open Education resources, information on evaluating resources, copyright, and links to a number of OER portals.  
Central Ohio Technical College and The Ohio State University at Newark will host a joint Open Textbook Network workshop for interested faculty and staff on February 28, 2018.  

Starting in 2018, the John L. and Christine Warner Library will pilot a small grant opportunity to faculty who attend an Open Textbook Network workshop and review one textbook in the Open Textbook Network Library.
